Earlier this year Jane was asked if she would like to guest judge at the Harbour & Jones staff awards, naturally Jane responded with an enormous… “Yes please!”
The staff awards were set up last year to celebrate their 10th Birthday and return this year with 10 symbolic categories that represent their values. Jane will be judging the ‘Rising Star’ Award and looking through the nominees for someone bursting with enthusiasm and lots of potential. The official awards ceremony is due to take place Friday 26 June at the 02 arena.

UPDATE ON THE ANNUAL HARBOUR & JONES STAFF AWARDS:
Following the success of the recent awards ceremony where more than 350 Harbour & Jones staff gathered together at the O2, we are delighted to be able to announce the winner of ‘The Rising Star’ award, was… Chef Manager, Michal Jedrzejczak – congratulations Michal! Jane and her fellow judges were overwhelmed by calibre of entry in the flood of nominations for this category making their decision to pick Michal by no means easy. This particular award was sponsored by coffee company, Peros and came with the prize of a trip to Africa to visit the One Brand Project.
A little bit about the lucky winner: Michal, started out with Harbour & Jones as a chef de partie in 2010, later promoted to Sous Chef and then in October of last year promoted again to Chef Manager – three positions in four years clearly shows that he is a real star in the making!
Patrick Harbour & Nathan Jones commented: “Michal is a truly deserved winner. Championing our ‘cart to counter ugly veg campaign’, and working tirelessly to win his customers hearts and stomachs.”
