Can you believe it’s nearly Easter?! There’s just a week to go before Good Friday and we’re sincerely hoping you’ll join in our Free Range Friday fun and hold your own bake sale to raise money for us.
It couldn’t be easier – simply hold a Free Range Friday bake sale at your home, school or place of work! Just make sure there’s lots of chocolate on hand and that all your food contains only free range eggs and off you go!
If you take part there is also a fabulously chocolatey prize, worth £30, to be won from Choccywoccydoodah who were featured in the latest edition of Chicken and Egg! Don’t miss out; email Corinne.firstname.lastname@example.org for your free fundraising pack or download your own materials here.
An Easter bake sale wouldn’t be complete with chocolate eggs and cakes-a-plenty so, to get you inspired, we’ve compiled a list of our top five favourite Easter recipes. We like to be helpful!
Taste of Home’s Devilled Eggs – in case you need something savoury after all that chocolate!
Easter Chick Cupcakes by Claire at the Simplesweetlife.com
Oh, and not forgetting this yummy mini egg fudge recipe by baking blogger (and our marketing officer!) Frantaffstic Bakes.
There are also lots of ways to make your event even more Easter and chicken oriented. This adorable chicken bunting is made by our supporter Amy Hamilton and some of the proceeds are donated back to us! Also these chicken mugs from our shop would be perfect to have a cuppa with – after all, every bit of cake needs an accompanying cuppa!
Or how about these gorgeous hen paper napkins from Emma Bridgewater? Who could resist a bit of a cake on a napkin that gorgeous!
Don’t forget to take plenty of pictures and tell us all about it after your event for a chance to win our Free Range Friday competition.
