BHWT Eggsellence AwardsOur aim is to see consumers take responsibility for what they eat and to support British free range farmers and this could not be better expressed than through the BHWT Eggsellence Award.

We love the idea that everyone wins:

  • the ‘consumer’ gets to enjoy food prepared with free range eggs;
  • the ‘place to eat’ gets deserved recognition for their use of free range eggs;
  • the ‘farmer’ gets a well earned mention for his high welfare production; and
  • the ‘hens’ get to enjoy access to fresh air and fields!

Eggsellence AwardsWe are proud to present eating establishments all over the UK with this prestigious award given to Michelin-starred restaurants, Garden Centres, Tea Rooms, local Pubs and roadside Cafés alike for their exclusive use of British free range eggs.

  • Promotional material enabling other customers to become aware of eggs in food and the work of the BHWT

  • Finally, we also invite British free range and organic farmers to nominate establishments to whom they supply eggs. This site is to promote them too.
