Ever wondered how to make perfect meringues, stir up zesty lemon curd or impress your guests with a cheese soufflé and real homemade mayonnaise? The secret is, it’s all in the eggs.
This year the two day Devon foodie festival falls at the start of British Egg Week, and we are invited along to highlight the importance of this most under-appreciated baking necessity and educate visitors on how they can make a difference to hen welfare through their shopping baskets.
Our volunteers will be joined by a few of our gorgeous hens, who will be clucking and scratching and maybe even laying some super fresh eggs.
