Jennifer Stone
got her pupils busy
baking for
Free Range Friday
Thurston Community College in May,
and the pupils raised £61.20 for the
BHWT. Not only did they bake and sell
cakes they also learnt a lot, Jennifer
said ‘I was surprised by how many
didn't know that there was any
difference between the types of eggs
for sale in the supermarket. Educating
and changing the hearts and minds of
teenagers has got to be a start.’ We
agree Jennifer, our consumers of
tomorrow have an important part to
play in hen welfare. Thank you all for
In August
