Find the Golden Egg!
Omelettes rule OK!
Health & Safety concerns proved a little too steep
recently at Glasgow Airport restaurant. The Grande Dame
of cookery, Mary Berry, was ordering a lightly cooked omelette and
was not impressed when the chef advised he was not allowed to lightly
cook them. Chef had Edwina Currie and 'elf n' safety to thank for that little
awkward moment. And Mary's
view? 'There's nothing worse than
an overcooked omelette, so if
restaurant chains won't cook
omelettes lightly then I
think omelettes should
be banned.'
