Cockerel Adoption

Hybrid Cockerel

Breed: Hybrid
Size: Standard size
Age (months): 13
Town / city: London
County: London

Unfortunately we have to rehome our 1-year-old rooster Lem. We’ve had him since he was 3 days old and he’s grown up beautifully. He’s a great rooster and is very loving to ladies, but we sadly do not have enough space to accommodate such a big rooster in our small backyard. He would love more space or even more hens to protect. We’re not sure what breeds he’s a mix of, but we believe he’s got Brahma and maybe maran in him. He does currently have a bald bum due to a specific couple of ladies getting bored in lockdown. He’s had no health issues. He won’t go out of the way to peck you, but if you suddenly get too close to his ladies he can get protective of them.
