Since 2005 we have been rehoming ex-commercial laying hens that would otherwise be sent to slaughter - 50,000 hens rehomed this year, and one million in total by next year.
These lucky hens get to enjoy sun on their backs, grass under their feet and the pure joy of being loved as a family pet, instead of the alternative.
