Dougal found us and adopted us about two years ago. He is feral – sleeping out in a local conifer tree. He must be free-range. He is fed and wormed by us but we have never handled him. He is never aggressive to us or our children and has been great with our hens. Unfortunately, this handsome chap is getting a bit stressed because our flock has been much reduced and the now very small flock has timid rescue hens and young chicks – of which at least one will be a cockerel – his babies!
Dougal needs a free-ranging situation with a decent sized flock whom he can look after. If you can give him a good home please do contact us.
