Cleo & Babs – from Alan Williams

The Girls are celebrating the 6th Anniversary of rescue by BHWT and homing with us on 29 May 2011. They are currently moulting – see Babs photo – so lots of feather collecting at home! They have a ‘Garden House’ but live in the home with us sleeping in carriers at night. Its amazing how they continue to learn and develop – they really know routines and ways of life at home and obviously enjoy handling and lots of fuss.

They eat layers mash with Poultry Spice, Garden Fruit Blend and Winter Porridge Mix and sunflower Hearts. We provide grit as well. Grapes, Blueberries, strawberries and banana, home made cakes and cheese are great favourites. If we have dessert of fruit they know when we are finishing up by the sound of spoons in bowls and make sure they have their helping. They really enjoy the life BHWT gave them!
